Dear Dormitory Residents,

The end of this semester’s accommodation will end at 12:00 on 2022/1/25 (Tue), for those who need to remain due to schoolwork or special reasons during the winter vacation must apply separately. Important information regarding the Academic Year 110 (2021-22) Winter Vacation Dormitory Application information are listed below:

I. 110th Academic year winter vacation dormitory application information

1、 Application Time

(1) Time: 2021/12/23(Thu)12:00 – 2022/01/03(Mon)12:00

(2) Login with e-mail and password https://sys.ndhu.edu.tw/SA/Winter/login.aspx ***ALL PREVIOUS STUDENT DORM FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE APPLYING FOR WINTER DORMS ***

2、 Application Eligibility

(1) Winter vacation: Students who are eligible for dormitory application of Academic Year 110.

(2) Those who need to remain due to schoolwork or special reasons.

(3) In response to the current situation of the epidemic and the arrangements for the beginning of the next semester, anyone who has a plan of traveling across counties and cities during the winter vacation are not allowed apply. If there’s a need to go travel cross-counties, please verify before leaving, those who didn’t verify, or broke pandemic prevention guidelines will be asked to leave the dormitory.

3、 Application Procedure

Apply Online –> Pay Fee –> Take receipt to the dormitory manager as proof of payment before moving in

4、 Accommodation Period

2022/01/25(Tue)17:00– 2022/02/10(Thu)12:00

(1) No short-term accommodations, early check-ins, or extended check-outs will be accepted. No refunds shall be granted. Please consider this before applying for the dormitory

5、 Dormitory Rooms

1. Since the winter vacation in the 110th academic year is short, in order to avoid the inconvenience of moving back and forth dormitories for students, residents will be living at their current respective rooms for the duration of winter vocation.

※If the number of applicants per dormitory is less than 10 people, the dormitory will be closed due to safety considerations, and the Student Living Services Division will be arranging a bed for you in other dormitories.

6、 Dormitory Fee

(1) Payment Period: 2022/01/06(Thu) 12:00 -2022/01/13(Thu) 24:00.

(2) Pay at https://school.bot.com.tw/twbank.net/index.aspx

(3) Dormitory fee: NT$1000, and deposit of NT$500 Since the accommodation period is less than 1 month, the residents will be sharing the electricity bill.

(4) Accommodation period: After 01/25(Tue)17:00, Take the receipt along with your Student ID Card to the dormitory manager when moving in.

7、 Winter Dormitory rules and guidelines

(1) During the accommodation period, non-residents and non-dormitory staff are not allowed to enter the dormitory.

(2) Due to residents continuing to live in their previous rooms, in order to avoid disputes caused by the movement of the luggage of other dormitories, it is forbidden for residents to communicate/socialize with each other in the dormitories during the accommodation period.

(3) In order to maintain the safety of the dormitory during the winter vacation, the reception is not open, and it is strictly forbidden to bring non-resident students into the dormitory. At the same time, it is also forbidden to gather in the dormitory. Violators of the regulations shall be handled in accordance with the relevant regulations of student dormitory management.

(4) The entrances and exits of the dormitory shall be closed and controlled. In case of an emergency, external force may be used to open and provide escape. Please cherish the public property and do not destroy it deliberately unless there is an emergency.

II. Epidemic prevention measures and life care operations during the winter vacation stay

[Epidemic prevention measures during the winter stay in student dormitories]

1. Residents should wear a mask all the way in and out of the dormitory, cooperate with the name registration system, measure body temperature, disinfect or wash your hands.

2. Each dormitory implements personnel entry and exit control in the dormitory. the entrance and exit shall be controlled to prevent passage in order to maintain the safety of the dormitory.

3. Anyone who enters and exits with abnormal body temperature (measured forehead temperature of more than 37.5 degrees or ear temperature of more than 38 degrees) or related respiratory symptoms (fever, respiratory symptoms, loss of taste and smell, diarrhea, etc.) are prohibited from entering the dormitory and must seek medical treatment and notify the administrator as soon as possible.

4. Those who fail to cooperate or comply with the epidemic prevention measures and dormitory announcements during the epidemic prevention period will be discussed and dealt with in accordance with the school's student dormitory management rules.

5. In response to changes in the epidemic, relevant measures shall be revised in a timely manner in accordance with the guidelines of the Central Epidemic Command Center and the Ministry of Education.

[Winter Vacation dormitory caring measures]

1. The dormitory has an administrator and staff on duty. If there are any living or equipment maintenance, you may contact the dormitory manager to provide immediate services.

2. During the winter vocation, if the residents are feeling unwell or need to seek assistance in an emergency, they may call the dormitory service phone, and there will be care services for the administrator provided. The service phone number is as follows:
