各位師長、同學、家長們好：
Dear teachers, students, and parents,
由於近日新冠肺炎疫情日益嚴峻，因應中央流行疫情指揮中心全國已進入第三級防疫警戒，為避免群聚感染，所有人員外出時需全程佩戴口罩，並停止室內5人以上、室外10人以上的聚會，大型活動也暫時停辦。據此，為符合防疫規定，本屆(109學年度)畢業典禮將採線上形式辦理。
Considering the recent escalation of Covid-19 cases in Taiwan, CECC announced that Taiwan is now under Level 3 Covid-19 alert nationwide. To avoid any potential cluster infection, everyone needs to wear a mask at all times outside the home, gatherings of more than 5 people inside and more than 10 outside are prohibited, and large activities are banned. To follow Level 3 regulations, the 2021 commencement will be held online.
原訂2021/06/06(日)是東華本(109)學年度畢業典禮的日子，雖因疫情關係無實體典禮，但學校仍用心規劃線上畢業典禮，給予所有畢業生最深摯的祝福，誠摯邀請您於6月6日（日）上午11:00準時點開連結一同觀看。
The NDHU commencement on June 6th, 20212 is now scheduled to online. Although there will not be physical commencement on campus, we still prepare a well-planned online ceremony for all graduates. We sincerely invite you to join us online at 11:00 A.M. on June 6th.
今年首次舉辦線上畢業典禮，取消了實體活動包括畢業生撥穗、頒證及各獎項頒發，其餘程序如校長與校內各級主管之祝福、學生代表畢業感言等調整為預錄影片播放，而由本屆畢業生創作的畢業歌曲「時光列車」也將在線上典禮中正式播出。這次，校長也將致贈所有畢業生每人1份實用的畢業祝福禮，祝福各位同學鵬程萬里 前途無量！
The physical activities such as the turning of the tassel, certificate awarding, and other awards issuing will be canceled unfortunately. Other agendas such as the president’s and the teachers’ best wishes, and Valedictory Speech will be pre-recoded videos. The graduation song composed and written by graduates of the 2021 class, Time Train, will be officially released at the online commencement. The president will further send all graduates one special graduation gift at the ceremony, wishing all graduates a bright and promising future!
